Prometheus Foundation is delighted to annouce that our partner, Turkish Objectivist Network has now been launched. Directors Özgür Özer and Orçun Koçak describe the organization’s mission statement as follows:
Turkish Objectivist Network is established with the purpose of introducing Turkish people to Ayn Rand’s philosophy through her original works and to create an intellectual community around her ideas.
The main tenet of such a mission is to gather interested and especially freedom-minded parties together, introduce them to the philosophy of Objectivism, and get them to read original works of Ayn Rand. And through this process make them part of a indivualistic, Objectivist community.
