Since September 2020, Prometheus Foundation has been collaborating with Ricardo Ibañez to advance Objectivism in Peru.
Ricardo runs “Ricardo’s Time,” an organization that promotes Objectivism through various programs, including a podcast where Ricardo invites fans and scholars to discuss Ayn Rand’s ideas in Spanish. He also provides educational opportunities such as the John Galt School (in collaboration with Ayn Rand Center Europe) and reading and discussion groups based on Rand’s works.
This fall, Ricardo will be hosting the first POSCON, a conference bringing together students from across Peru to discuss Objectivism and the tools it provides for flourishing. The speakers—including Ricardo, David Alfaro (Costa Rica), Martin Hoss (Germany), and Eduardo Marty (Argentina)—will discuss the importance of philosophy in general and Ayn Rand’s philosophy in particular. The thought-provoking talks and activities will inspire conference attendees to expand their knowledge and to share their learnings with others.
