Objectivism in Turkey Conference 🇹🇷
Ankara was ablaze when, on May 6, 2023, TON hosted 60 participants at the annual Objectivism in Turkey Conference. A day-long journey of intellectual exploration, the conference culminated in a social gathering, bringing with it a strong sense of community and the opportunity for conferees to discover potential collaborators in advancing Objectivism in Turkey.
John Galt School Turkey 🎓
The Turkish John Galt School ran from April 28 to May 18. Twenty-four students were chosen to attend the rigorous 8-week program, of which 88% successfully completed!
Mind-Expanding Seminars and Webinars 🌟
We also cranked up the energy with our seminars and webinars. Fourteen participants attended “Selfishness in Personal and Professional Relationships,” held in Istanbul on July 29th. Later, Ankara was buzzing with “Freedom of Speech,” which drew a crowd of 22 passionate individuals on August 19th. And they didn’t let borders hold them back, thanks to the online webinar “Free Trade in Africa,” which 20 participants from across the globe joined on August 10th.
The “We the Taxpayers” Project with Atlas Network 💼
They have also teamed up with the brilliant Professor Buğra Kalkan from İzmir Katip Çelebi University for the new “We the Taxpayers” Project. Having kicked off on September 1st, this campaign will continue into next year, concluding in May 2024.
Foundations of Objectivist Philosophy on Udemy 💻
Boom! TON just launched their first training module on Udemy (an online learning platform) and it has already drawn 217 eager participants within its first month. Arabic and Kurdish translations are in the works and TON is making moves to offer it on their website.
Chat with Ayn Rand (AI Chatbot) 🤖
Last, TON introduced the Ayn Rand AI chatbot—designed to emulate Ayn Rand’s intellectual and literary style—to their website. Check it out here. With a whopping 2600 messages served to over 180 users, it has sparked interest, not only locally, but also on the international stage.
