Craig boasts, “we are prevailing so far” in court.
Craig told the court that without access to my funds, OSI would be out of business within three to four weeks. He pleaded we need the money. That’s why the court let them continue to spend my money.
This argument echoes Ayn Rand’s villains, who always have causes:
“They always have emergencies. They always have public-spirited language. They always have beneficiaries to parade before the world. But beneath the rhetoric is the same demand: ‘You must surrender your values because we need them.’”
Craig described the funds as “held in trust”. He wrote that they were “not grants to OSI”. He clarified that they could be “used only with permission.”
Because he needs that money, Craig begs the court to let him continue to spend my money. Like the villains of Atlas Shrugged, NEED is the mantra of the looter and moocher.
Craig: STOP SPENDING MY MONEY!
