It has almost been a year since Ayn Rand Center Georgia was founded in Tbilisi, Georgia by Irakli, Davit, and Giorgi. In that year, the ARCG team has held more than ten events, including book clubs and online and in-person events. Moreover, they started a video project called “Two Things,” in which various intellectuals from Georgia answer the question: “Which two ideas of Objectivism have changed your life the most?” If you are looking for some Georgian inspiration, please check out their YouTube channel here.
ARCG aims to promote the ideas of Ayn Rand and Objectivism, which emphasize the importance of reason, individualism, and laissez-faire capitalism. Their mission is to popularize Ayn Rand’s philosophy and spread Objectivist ideas in Georgian society through their educational projects. Their vision is to create a society of strong, independent, rational and productive individuals who lead their lives through reason.
The organization plans to hold regular events and meetings to discuss Objectivist ideas and their application to various fields, including politics, economics, and ethics. They also aim to engage with the broader Georgian community and promote Objectivism to a wider audience. For further information please check out their website!
One of the main goals of the organization is to promote individualism and the importance of reason in decision-making. They believe that individuals should be free to pursue their own goals and values, without interference from the government or other individuals. Toward this end, they recently held their Ayn Rand Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia, reaching out to an incredibly exciting group in Georgia to introduce the ideas of Objectivism.
The ARCG team hopes that their efforts will contribute to a better understanding in Georgia of Objectivism and its principles. They believe that Objectivism provides a clear and rational philosophy that can help individuals achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
