Craig Biddle has now responded to my public statements by telling his Objectivist friends and colleagues that OSI has “prevailed at every stage so far.” More boasting from Craig. (A temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction is an emergency remedy, decided by a judge under a demanding legal standard. There has been no examination of witnesses or trial. They are rarely granted.)
Craig writes he will not engage in “tit for tat.” Of course he will not, because he has no facts on his side.
The preliminary order from the court does not expose the truth. As an Objectivist, I will.
Here are a few documented truths:
- Craig wrote: “To be clear, funds from the Carl Barney Living Trust are held in trust by OSI, not grants to OSI.” And “These funds are held in trust and may be used only with Carl’s permission.”
- Biddle drafted the Advisement Agreement, which he now claims is “illegal,” “unenforceable,” etc. So, he created something that he never intended to follow. Did he know it was illegal and unenforceable to deceive me into giving him access to my funds? If Biddle were an honorable man adhering to Objectivist principles, he would, at a
minimum, stop spending and return my money based on the Court’s preliminary findings.
Is it conceivable that I would give $9 million to the Biddles to spend at their whim on a conference buying dinners for everyone, paying for speaker fees, hotel rooms, etc.?
This is a mockery of reality and Objectivism.
Objectivists: Look to reality and facts, not legal deception and trickery.
Craig: AGAIN, STOP SPENDING MY MONEY!
