A Hub for Objectivist Scholarship in Europe
At CEVRO University in Prague, Dr. Eszter Nova is leading one of the most vibrant academic programs devoted to Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism. Now entering its seventh year, the Studies of Objectivism specialization—supported by Prometheus Foundation—continues to attract ambitious students from across the globe who seek a rational, liberty-oriented approach to life and thought.
I really enjoyed the course—the way the material is presented and how the teacher interacts with students. This subject has changed my perspective on certain things. I now understand [the history of philosophy] much better and can look at the issues discussed during the course from a completely different angle.
—Student evaluation, Spring 2025

Bridging Classical Ideas and Contemporary Culture
Dr. Nova’s courses bring Rand’s ideas to life through rigorous study and creative application. Students explore Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, The Virtue of Selfishness, and Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal while applying Objectivist principles to various subjects.
Classes such as “Objectivism and Cinema” and “Ayn Rand’s Ethics and AI Ethics” encourage students to challenge popular assumptions and think independently about culture, technology, and morality. Her teaching style combines accessible discussion, Socratic dialogue, and philosophical depth, making the program one of the most popular at the university.
Expanding Global Reach
The Ayn Rand Prometheus Scholarship continues to draw international applicants each year. Four new students—from Mauritius, Ukraine, Georgia, and the Czech Republic—have joined the program for 2025–26. To maintain academic excellence, scholarships are awarded on a semester basis, with continued support contingent on demonstrated engagement and achievement.
Studying Ayn Rand’s philosophy at CEVRO Institute has been a transformative experience. It has deepened my understanding of reason, freedom, and personal responsibility.
—Sophiko Sarsania, Georgia, Class of 2023

Alumni Leading with Reason
Graduates of the Objectivism program are already making an impact worldwide. Alumni have taken positions at respected organizations, including the Mises Institute (Poland), Institute Bruno Leoni (Italy), and the American Institute for Economic Research (USA). Others are pursuing PhDs, launching NGOs, hosting radio shows, and working in business and public policy—all inspired by the principles of rational self-interest and individual rights.
For me, many new doors have been opened by participating in this particular program… I understand the world around me better than ever before.
—Tobias Zander, Germany, Class of 2023

A Lasting Legacy of Ideas
Through Dr. Nova’s leadership, CEVRO University has become an important part of the European movement for Objectivist study—one where students don’t merely read Ayn Rand, but learn to apply her philosophy to their lives, careers, and cultures.
With the support of Prometheus Foundation, the Studies of Objectivism program continues to advance Rand’s vision of a society built on reason, individualism, and freedom—one student at a time.
