Anna Tymoshenko, Ukraine

Anna Tymoshenko received a Productiveness Grant to fuel her continuing effort to expand her knowledge and improve her skills.

Anna is the CEO of Ukrainian Students for Freedom, one of Eastern Europe’s most dynamic student-driven organizations, dedicated to advancing liberty, individual rights, and a culture of rational, independent thinking. A capable and confident speaker, Anna brings clarity, conviction, and intellectual rigor to every stage she steps onto—whether she is delivering a keynote address, participating in panel discussions, or engaging directly with young people who are eager to understand the principles of a free society.

Deeply committed to the philosophy of freedom, Anna has cultivated an excellent understanding of Objectivism and integrates its core ideas—reason, individualism, and ethical ambition—into both her leadership and personal development. Her published reflections on her experience with OSI’s LevelUp program highlight her intellectual curiosity and her drive to apply philosophical principles to real-world challenges, especially those facing Ukrainian youth during a time of significant political and cultural upheaval.

Under her leadership, Ukrainian Students for Freedom continues to expand its impact, offering educational programs, community-building initiatives, and professional development opportunities that empower students to think critically and live purposefully. Anna’s work not only strengthens the next generation of Ukrainian leaders but also reinforces the importance of moral clarity and principled action in the broader global movement for liberty.

Whether she is organizing national conferences, mentoring young activists, or sharing her own philosophical journey, Anna stands out as a thoughtful, determined, and inspiring advocate for human flourishing—and a model of what it means to lead with both intelligence and integrity.
