In September 2021, Alisa (her name has been changed for safety and security) received a Prometheus grant to organize Ayn Rand study groups at various locations in Belarus. With the current political turmoil in Belarus, she sees huge potential for reaching young people who are eager for ideas in support of freedom, and thus ripe for Ayn Rand’s ideas in particular.
In 2022, Alisa will work with Ayn Rand Center Ukraine on a series of YouTube videos that discuss Rand’s essays in Russian, which will be promoted in all Russian-speaking post-Soviet countries, including Belarus.
