Interested in Joining Project Arizona?

Since 2017, Prometheus Foundation has been co-funding Project Arizona, organized by Jacek Spendel. Jacek has just extended the deadline for applications for this year’s program to May 31, 2022.

Project Arizona is a five-week program for ambitious young people in the liberty movement aged 20 to 30. The program comprises internships at renowned free market organizations in the U.S. and academic seminars at Arizona State University.

As a part of this program, students also attend day-long workshops on Objectivism (one of which was taught earlier this year by Carl Barney and Craig Biddle at Carl’s home).

Project Arizona has a 3-stage selection process:

  1. Application: Along with general information, every applicant is required to submit a copy of their latest resume, submit a letter of recommendation, and address three questions:
  • Q 1. “Life story in short” (200-300 words)
  • Q 2. “Please describe your activism for liberty” (200-300 words)
  • Q 3. “Why is Project Arizona well designed for you?” (200-300 words)
  1. Reviews and Interview: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and qualified applicants will be invited for an interview by a panel of two Project Arizona alumni, who will then rate each applicant on a metric scale.
  1. Raise Me To Top (RMTT): Successful candidates from the interview round will qualify for the last and most important stage of the selection process. Under the RMTT stage, each candidate will be required to make a strong case for their candidacy and to fundraise from the liberty network and their community network. The successful candidates will reserve a spot among the final participants.
