Nurturing Objectivism’s Roots in Israel

Our partner, Ayn Rand Center Israel, held two lectures in July. Both lectures were inspired by Dr. Leonard Peikoff’s seminal work, Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand (OPAR), and one of these thoughtfully dissected Ayn Rand’s powerful essay, “The Anti-Industrial Revolution.

In addition, they established a steering committee for their Ayn Rand Atlas Award. The committee is working tirelessly to secure financial support for the project, attracting sponsors and funding to ensure its success. The dedication of committee members to promoting Objectivism and rewarding those who champion its principles is praiseworthy.

Another significant accomplishment to mention is the presentation of the Atlas Juniors project during a conference in Cameroon organized by the Israeli Embassy. Thanks to the conference, students involved in the program had the special opportunity to present their projects to an international audience of almost one hundred entrepreneurs!

Last, but not least, is Ayn Rand Center Israel’s collaboration with the IVC Research Center, a leading data source and business information company in Israel’s high-tech sector. This collaboration emerged after extensive research and interactions with various market players. The collaboration marks the start of a comprehensive marketing campaign for the Atlas Award in September and promises to further spread the influence of Ayn Rand’s philosophy.

In addition to these notable achievements, activities such as Objectivism meetups and the announcement of the 2023 Ayn Rand Essay Contest winners continue to nurture the roots of Ayn Rand’s philosophy in Israel.
